Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026

These Terms apply when you create an account or use HSA Pocket. By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

HSA Pocket is an independent receipt and reimbursement recordkeeping application. It is not an HSA custodian, bank, plan administrator, tax preparer, medical provider, or insurer. HSA Pocket does not determine whether an expense is legally or tax eligible. Extracted details and eligibility suggestions require your review.

Accounts and household access

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account. Household owners control invitations and roles. Only invite people who should have access, and only upload records you are authorized to store and share, including records that identify family members.

Your records

You retain ownership of the receipt files, expense information, notes, and other content you provide. You grant HSA Pocket a limited permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. You remain responsible for reviewing records and maintaining any additional documentation required by your HSA custodian, plan administrator, or tax adviser.

Subscriptions and billing

Free and paid features are described on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew for the selected billing period until canceled. You may manage or cancel billing through the customer portal when available. Cancellation and account deletion are separate: cancellation preserves the documented view and export access to existing records but may disable paid-only features. Billing disputes and refund requests are handled through support subject to applicable law.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security controls, upload unlawful or malicious material, violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, use the service to commit fraud, or access another household without permission.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to protect record portability through the available export tools, but you should keep any copies independently required for tax, benefits, or legal purposes.

Account deletion and termination

You may request deletion from Settings after creating any desired final export. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, or conduct that threatens the service or other users.

Disclaimers and limitation

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. HSA Pocket disclaims warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or sufficient for a particular tax, medical, financial, or legal purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSA Pocket will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made from unreviewed extracted information. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
